WHEY
Whey is a source of high quality protein naturally found in milk. To make whey, milk is separated into milk curds and liquid whey by adding a compound known as rennet (vegetarian microbial rennet in our case), the liquid whey is then pastuerized and dried out to create the whey powder we consume.

WILL WHEY PROTEIN DAMAGE MY KIDNEYS AND LIVER?
There is no evidence that whey protein directly damages our kidneys or liver. In fact, adequate intake of protein is essential for normal bodily functions and the body tends to suffer when we chronically eat less protein. That being said, overconsumption of protein is not conducive to perfect health either.
WHY DOES MY STOMACH HURT WHEN I CONSUME WHEY?
This is due of one of two reasons, the more common culprit is LACTOSE INTOLERANCE. If you are lactose intolerant and you still wish to consume whey, we would recommend investing in our isolated whey product or a vegan protein supplement.
